A postcard I submitted will be in the Postcards from the EDGE exhibit, a fundraiser for Visual AIDS. This exhibit features all 4″ x 6″ handcrafted postcards from a wide variety of artists including: Robert Gober, Pipilotti Rist, Jim Hodges, Catherine Opie, Ed Ruscha, Kiki Smith, Ann Hamilton, Arturo Herrera, Paul Chan, Louise Fishman, Benjamin Fredrickson, Ida Applebroog, Julie Mehretu, Cary Leibowitz, L.J. Roberts, Robert Longo, Moyra Davey, Kate Shepherd, Geoffrey Hendricks, Mary Heilmann, Ross Bleckner and many others.
The opening preview is Firday night, January 30, 2015. The event takes place at Luhring Augustine, 531 W 24th Street, NYC. The VIP preview is $50 and doors open at 5pm. The artists’ preview is from 6pm to 8pm. It’s $50 per person for guests to the preview event. The sale is on Saturday January 31 and Sunday February 1, is open to the public. All works are $85.
