People continually reassess who they are inside and how they appear to the world. This reassessment happens almost without any recognition. Yet, even in the process of modifying appearance and style, we are recognizable to ourselves and to others. In fact, it is the extreme instance of an appearance change that proves the rule – somehow we know an awful lot about how someone looks today and will likely look in the future. It is this shift and balance I seek to portray here.
