100 Days of Drawings from a Pandemic – 2020/2021
These drawings came out of the frustration and isolation of working during the COVID pandemic. They each represent some aspect of what I was experiencing, whether it be what others were saying or feeling, what I was saying or feeling and what I perceived to be the tone of the moment. These images, all avatars of myself, portray some of the qualities of living during this time in the US. All images are 14″ x 11″ and are created with mixed media including pencil, charcoal, markers, chalk pastel, oil pastel, tea, pomegranate juice, wood residue, crayon, watercolor, etc.
